Does HBO use or share my personal information?

Your privacy is important to us. The WarnerMedia Privacy Policy outlines for you what information we collect, how we use it, and where and how we share it. Our Privacy Policy is available at HBO.com/privacy-policy.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

California residents can stop the sharing of personal information with third parties using the 'Do Not Sell My Personal Information' link in the footer of HBOGO.com and in the settings of our apps. Here's how:

Note  If you want this change to take effect across all sessions and devices, be sure to sign in first.

  1. Sign in to HBO GO.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Phone or tablet: Tap the Profile icon and then tap the Settings icon (upper-right corner).
    • TV: Choose the Profile icon (upper-right corner).
    • Computer: Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  3. Choose Do Not Sell My Personal Information.
  4. Choose or toggle the Turn off data sharing option.

This change will take effect the next time you start HBO GO. To have the change take effect immediately, close and reopen the HBO GO app (or close the browser tab with HBOGO.com and open a new one).

If you are signed in to HBO GO, this change will apply across all sessions and devices.

California residents can also submit a Do Not Sell privacy request on the WarnerMedia Privacy Center. Submitting a Do Not Sell privacy request affects data already collected from all WarnerMedia products and services (not just HBO GO). To learn more, go to warnermediaprivacy.com and choose the 'Learn how to stop your information from being sold' option.
