*VICE News Tonight is available within 24 hours of the premiere broadcast for the following devices: PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Kindle Fire (1st and 2nd generations), Kindle Fire TV (2015), Samsung Smart TVs (Orsay 2010 and 2011 models), TiVo, and devices running iOS 7.0 and earlier.

Why can't I watch VICE News Tonight from the beginning?

If you start watching VICE News Tonight while it airs in real-time from the VICE studio, the show will play in progress. If you'd like to watch VICE News Tonight from the beginning, wait until the premiere broadcast is over before you start watching the show.

What does LIVE in the video player mean?

LIVE means that theVICE News Tonight show is broadcasting in real-time from the VICE studio.

If you're not seeing LIVE in the video player when VICE News Tonight is broadcasting on HBO, go to the app store on your device and see if there's an app update. Simultaneous broadcasting is not supported on the following devices: Devices running iOS 7.0 and earlier, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Kindle Fire (1st and 2nd generations), and Samsung Smart TVs (Orsay 2010 and 2011 models).

Why can't I fast forward, pause, or rewind a video?

If your video player controls are limited to stop and play, you need to update the HBO GO app (you need version 9.0 or later). 

How do I view interactive content?

VICE News Tonight shows may include additional interactive content:

  • Video clips
  • Infographics
  • Documents

Interactive content is available on mobile devices (Android and iOS) and computers at HBOGO.com.

When you're watching a VICE News Tonight show, a Lightning bolt appears when interactive content is available. Tap or click this icon to view the interactive content, or choose the Lightning bolt button that appears with the video player controls.

Note  Interactive content is not available when a show is broadcasting in real-time from the VICE studio. Interactive content is typically added within an hour of the premiere on HBO.

How do I jump to the interactive content?

To quickly jump to interactive content (a video, infographic, or document), tap or click on the video to see the player controls, and then choose the Lightning bolt button. Now choose an item from the pop-up menu.
