Spinning circle on Samsung TV when trying to play a video
If you get a spinning circle animation when you try to play a show or movie on Samsung TV, try updating the HBO GO app. Here's how:
- Open the Smart Hub on your Samsung TV.
- Select Find Apps.
- In the upper-right corner, select the Settings icon (appears as a cog).
- Select Updates.
- Find and select HBO GO, then select Update.
- Restart your Samsung TV and then open the HBO GO app.
You should now have the latest version of the HBO GO app. The HBO GO app version appears in Settings. To see the app version, open the HBO GO app and select Settings (scroll down to find Settings). The app version number appears next to "About HBO GO.' You should have an app version later than 1.8 (for example, 3.0.24).
